However, A watched Pot Never Boils
My mother told me that a LONG time ago. So, against my better judgement as I am trying very hard to save as much time off as I can, we took yesterday off work and went to Orlando for an awesome concert and a day at Sea World’s Aquatica. The concert was amazing and the park was a blast. We came home refreshed and stress free. We didn’t think about the adoption process, paperwork, or the agonizing wait for about 36 hours. It was a welcome vacation from our busy lives.
Yesterday after we got home, we received a phone call from Meg at CAWLI. We finally received our Letter of Acceptance from China!! It was a perfect end to a perfect day! So, today we have been scrambling to get paperwork together, take additional passport photos, and apply for Visas to travel to CHINA!! We are super excited and now actually have more solid travel times. I managed to request that we travel in July so that my sister can travel with us. Meg told me that there are several families traveling in June and then another group will be traveling in July. So, there should be no problem for us to travel in July. So, with a little over 2 months to go, we are excited, anxious, nervous, and thrilled all at the same time. Filling out the applications for visas really makes the whole process a little more “real”!I’m so glad that we had the chance to relax and take some time for ourselves to spend time together and I can’t wait until we have a little girl to share our lives with!
